Chief of General Staff Visiting Serbia
Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister of Belarus Maj. Gen. Oleg Belokonev is visiting Serbia on 8-10 November under the 2016 international military cooperation plan.
He met with Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic and attended the Slavic Brotherhood 2016 multinational tactical military exercise.
The parties discussed the state and prospects for bilateral military cooperation and regional security issues.
Oleg Belokonev will also meet with Serbian Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic and visit the Serbian Military Academy and Military Medical Academy.
