Key tasks:
- upholding combat and mobilisation readiness;
- supervising the troops’ day-to-day activities, enhancing their combat training and cohesion level;
- planning application of the subordinate troops and those to be set up under Belarusian law, coordinating the work of the staffs and local authorities in the defence sphere;
- helping local communities in case of natural and man-made disasters.
