The emergence and development of electronic warfare (EW) is linked to the history of the development of electronic warfare assets and its introduction into the sphere of military struggle.
EW is considered to be a relatively young branch of military arts. At the same time, the idea and first cases of radio reconnaissance and radio interference date back to the time when radio was first used in warfare.
At present, the EW system of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus meets all the requirements to inhibit C3 ability.
New EW equipment is still in progress, new forms and methods of using EW troops and means are being introduced, and new units are being created in accordance with emerging threats to the national security of the Republic of Belarus in the military sphere. The personnel of the EW military units continue the glorious traditions in maintaining high combat readiness and military discipline established by the war veterans in the initial period of the EW system development.
