Unbreakable Brotherhood 2018

From 30 October to 2 November, the Sverdlovsk Training Centre in Ekaterinburg (Russia) is hosting the Unbreakable Brotherhood 2018 joint exercise involving the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).

The Belarusian Armed Forces are represented by the peacekeeping company of the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade of the Special Operations Forces.

The exercise aims to train commanders and officials of all levels to prepare a peacekeeping operation and to control units of the CSTO peacekeeping forces, to improve cohesion between the peacekeeping units during a joint mission, and to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between the CSTO peacekeeping forces.

Military units from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia are also taking part in the Unbreakable Brotherhood 2018 exercise.
