Belarus Participates in the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation

On July 12, Vienna hosts the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation. Major General Pavel Muraveiko, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Chief of the MainOperations Directorate, participates in the Forum from the Belarusian side.

Major General Pavel Muraveiko will conduct a briefing on forthcoming Belarus-Russia joint strategic exercise Zapad 2017, which is to be held in September.

This event confirms the course of Belarus on strengthening confidence and security between the OSCE participating states in the military sphere, demonstrates transparency and compliance of own activities with the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures.
