From 27 to 31 March, a Belarusian inspection group inspected a military unit of the French armed forces, which is subject to control under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (the CFE Treaty), as well as conducted an evaluation visit to a military unit of the French armed forces under the 2011 Vienna Document.

The aim of the inspections was to prove that the actual amount of the materiel limited by the CFE Treaty corresponds to the declared data. The inspectors evaluated the reliability of the information presented by France to the OSCE member states under the 2011 Vienna Document on the personnel and materiel of the verified unit.
