Under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe

Within the period from 6 to 9 February, the Republic of Belarus will be visited by the US inspection group under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) for the purpose of conducting an inspection of a military unit of the Armed Forces (at the inspectors' option), which is the subject to control under the provisions of the CFE Treaty.

The aim of the inspection is to prove that the actual amount of the materiel limited by the treaty corresponds to the declared data. A military inspector from the Italian Republic will participate in the inspection as part of the US inspection group.
