Bilateral Cooperation

Representatives of the Belarusian and Latvian armed forces will meet in Minsk from 31 January to 2 February to discuss the implementation of the Agreement on Additional Confidence- and Security-Building Measures between Belarus and Latvia.

During the meeting, the parties will assess the implementation of the provisions of the Agreement in 2016, consider proposals aimed at improving the effectiveness of additional confidence and security measures that are being applied, as well as negotiate the issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of arms control for 2017. A protocol will be signed at the end of the meeting.
