In Accordance with Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe

A Canadian inspection group will visit Belarus on 16-19 January. The group will inspect a military unit of the Belarusian Armed Forces (at their option), which is subject to control under the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe.

The aim of the inspection is to prove that the actual amount of the materiel limited by the treaty corresponds to the declared data. The inspection group will include three military inspectors from Canada and one inspector from Germany, Italy, Poland, the United States, Ukraine and the Czech Republic each.
