Norwegian Inspection Team to Verify Specified Exercise Area in Belarus

From 17 to 19 September, a Norwegian inspection team consisting of four inspectors will verify a specified area in Belarus under the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures.

The aim of the inspection is to confirm that the number of personnel and materiel involved in the command-staff exercise of the Armed Forces in this area corresponds to the data presented by Belarus to the OSCE member states under the Vienna Document.

The inspection team includes three military inspectors from Norway and one from Hungary.
