Belarusian Defence Minister Meets with Syrian Ambassador

Belarusian Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov has today met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria to Belarus Bassam Abdul Majid.

The parties exchanged views on topical issues of regional security.

At the end of the meeting, Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov thanked Maj. Gen. Samer Arnus, military attache at the Syrian Embassy in Belarus, who was present at the meeting and who completes his diplomatic mission in Belarus, for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries.
