Arms Control Issues
From 10 to 12 February, representatives of the Belarusian and Latvian armed forces will hold a meeting in Minsk to discuss the Agreement on Additional Confidence- and Security-Building Measures.
During the meeting, the parties will evaluate implementation of the Agreement in 2014 and negotiate on bilateral arms control cooperation in 2015.

From 2 to 6 February, a representative of the Belarusian Armed Forces as a member of Kazakhstan’s inspection group verified a specified area in Germany under the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures.
The inspection proved that no military activity subject to preliminary notification under the 2011 Vienna Document is conducted in the specified area.
