Retirement Ceremony held for Lieutenant-General Yuri Zhadobin

A retirement ceremony was held for Lt. Gen. Yuri Zhadobin at the Defence Ministry.

The event was attended by State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Maj. Gen. Alexander Mezhuyev, leadership of the Defence Ministry, generals and officers of central command and control bodies, commanders of military units of the Minsk garrison and chiefs of military schools.

Handing over the merit certificate of the Belarusian Security Council to Yuri Zhadobin, Alexander Mezhuyev recognised his great contribution to the development of the Armed Forces and enhancement of their combat and mobilisation readiness.

On behalf of the Defence Ministry and the General Staff, Deputy Minister of Defence Maj. Gen. Mikhail Puzikov thanked Yuri Zhadobin for his service.

Zhadobin thanked the people he worked with and wished them success in military service for the benefit of the Motherland.
