Arms Control Issues
On 19 August, a group of experts from Poland’s Ministry of National Defence will arrive in Minsk to participate in a working meeting between the representatives of the Belarusian and Polish armed forces dedicated to implementing the Agreement on Additional Confidence and Security-Building Measures between Belarus and Poland. The Polish delegation will be headed by Col. Robert Cepko, head of the Disarmament Division, International Security Policy Department.
Chief of the National Agency for Control and Inspections Col. Yuri Chernukha will lead the Belarusian delegation.
The parties will discuss current and future arms control cooperation.
