«Welcome to the hospitable land of Belarus, in the hero city of Minsk.

I sincerely hope that your stay in the Republic of Belarus will leave you with only the most positive and memorable impressions.

I would like to express my appreciation for your participation in the meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Heads of Signals Troops of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Today, amid an unstable geopolitical situation in the world, strengthening and developing military cooperation within the Commonwealth is an important instrument for addressing current challenges and safeguarding the national interests of our countries. Only by working together can we withstand the temporary risks, challenges and threats we face.

The Coordination Committee of the Heads of Communications is an executive body of the Council of Ministers of Defence of the CIS member states. The organisation of communications in support of command and control during the fulfilment of joint tasks depends on your coordinated and joint efforts.

An analysis of joint activities conducted at various levels and on different scales demonstrates the highest level of readiness of the Signals Troops of our states to carry out tasks jointly, confirms the soundness of the chosen path of cooperation, and validates the development of joint documents and agreements.

I am confident that the results of today’s meeting will contribute to the further development of the Joint (Integrated) Communications System of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth and the Signals Troops of our states.

I wish all participants in the meeting successful and productive work.»
