Meeting to Exchange Views on the Military-Political Situation Around Belarus

Today, on the initiative of the American side, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Assistant to the Defence Minister for Foreign Military Policy Maj. Gen. Oleg Voinov met with Charge d’Affaires of the United States of the USA in Belarus Jeffrey Giauque.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the military-political situation around Belarus. The Belarusian side provided relevant information about the internal political situation in the country, expressed concern about the escalation of tension in the region and the next round of the “arms race”, and also noted the inadmissibility of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Belarus.
