International Cooperation Issues

From 22 to 24 November 2018, a delegation of the Defence Ministry of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland visits the Republic of Belarus. Nick Gurr, United Kingdom Ministry of Defence Director for International Security Policy, headed it.

During the visit, the British military delegation met with Maj. Gen. Oleg Voinov, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Assistant to the Defence Minister for Foreign Military Policy, on 23 November. The parties discussed bilateral cooperation issues in the military sphere, as well as exchanged views on topical issues of international security.

Following the meeting, the defence ministries of Belarus and the UK signed the Military Cooperation Plan for 2019.
