Belarus and Azerbaijan Discuss Bilateral Military Cooperation Issues

As part of a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel Dzmitry Zhukovsky, Chief of the Troops Service Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, held a meeting with Major General Azer Ibrahimov, Chief of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigations of the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Major General Elgyun Aliyev, Deputy Chief of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigations of the Defenсe Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chief of the Military Police Department.

During the visit, the Belarusian delegation discussed with their Azerbaijani counterparts issues of bilateral military cooperation in the areas of military service organisation, law enforcement, and protection of military facilities.
