Belarusian Military Delegation Continues Official Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan

In the course of the official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus Major General Viktor Gulevich held talks with First Deputy Minister of Defence – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan Major General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov.

The sides discussed the current state of bilateral military cooperation, outlined ways to intensify it in areas of mutual interest.

Major General Viktor Gulevich visited the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a number of other educational institutions, where he familiarised himself with the structure, tasks and system of training military personnel, educational material base and living conditions of students.

Viktor Gulevich also took part in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the “Ode to Fortitude” monument in in the Memorial Complex “Victory Park”.
