CSTO Military Committee Meeting

On 3 July 2020, a regular meeting of the CSTO Military Committee was held in a video conference format. The meeting was attended by the chiefs of the general staffs of the armed forces of the CSTO member states, as well as the Chief of the Joint Staff Col. Gen. Anatoly Sidorov.

The event was attended by the Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister Maj. Gen. Alexander Volfovich.

In accordance with the agenda of the meeting of the CSTO Military Committee, the participants analysed the challenges and threats to military security in the regions of collective security, and also discussed a number of issues related to joint operational and combat training activities in 2020.

The meeting of the CSTO Military Committee and the decisions taken within it will be aimed at further development of the military component of the Organisation, taking into account the national interests and priorities of the member states.
