Telephone Conversations

At the instance of the British side, a telephone conversation took place between the Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister Maj. Gen. Alexander Volfovich and the UK Chief of the Defence Staff, General Nick Carter.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation. The emphasis was placed on the further development of interaction in the field of peacekeeping.

During the conversation, Maj. Gen. Alexander Volfovich thanked the British side for the free assistance provided to the 432nd Main Military Clinical Medical Centre of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus (winner of the Red Star Order award), and also expressed support and solidarity in the fight against COVID-19.
