Belarusian Military Delegation to Take Part in the International Conference on Counterterrorism

On March 15, 2017, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (Moscow) will host an International Conference: Military Aspects of Countering Terrorism Based on Experience of Military Operations in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The delegation of the Belarusian Armed Forces, headed by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Oleg Belokonev, will take part in this event.

During the conference the participants will exchange opinions on the issues of countering international terrorism, discuss ways of improving the forms and methods of using groups of forces in present-day operations, taking into account the experience of military operations in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The conference program also provides for the examination of issue-related exhibitions of modern samples of weapons, military and special armament of the Russian production.
