Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister of Belarus Maj. Gen. Oleg Belokonev is visiting China on 9–13 October.

The Belarusian military delegation will attend the 7th Xiangshan Forum.

The Forum is an annual platform for a high level dialogue on security issues in the Asia-Pacific and other regions.

During the visit, the Belarusian delegation will meet with Deputy Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission and Chief of the Joint Staff of the Central Military Commission. The parties will discuss the development of military cooperation, joint Belarusian-Chinese exercises, as well as cooperation in military education.

Foreign military attachés accredited in the Republic of Belarus visited the Minsk Tractor Works JSC and the Institute of Border Service of the Republic of Belarus
