Belarusian Defence Minister to Participate in CSTO Defence Ministers’ Council

A Belarusian military delegation led by Belarusian Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov is visiting Armenia on 15-19 August.

On 16 August, the Belarusian Defence Minister will attend a regular meeting of the CSTO Defence Ministers’ Council. He will outline the country’s position on 11 issues on the agenda.

Decisions taken at the meeting will contribute to establishing common approaches and mechanisms to develop the CSTO military component.

On 17-19 August, the Belarusian Defence Minister will hold bilateral meetings with the Armenian Defence Minister and the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia. The parties will discuss bilateral military cooperation and outline promising areas for future interaction.
