Chief of General Staff Starts an Official Visit to Azerbaijan — Military information portal of the Ministry of Defence of Republic of Belarus

Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Defence Minister of Belarus Maj. Gen. Oleg Belokonev arrived in Baku (Azerbaijan) on an official visit.

On 13-14 July, Oleg Belokonev will hold meetings with First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Minister of Defence Industry and First Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. The parties will discuss developing military cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.

The itinerary includes visits to naval special operations forces and diver training centres and the military academy of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as well as defence companies.

In addition, the Belarusian military delegation will visit the Alley of Honour, the Martyrs’ Lane and the Heydar Aliyev Centre.

Foreign military attachés accredited in the Republic of Belarus visited the Minsk Tractor Works JSC and the Institute of Border Service of the Republic of Belarus
