Belarusian Defence Minister to Attend CIS Defence Ministers’ Council Meeting

Belarusian Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov will today attend a regular meeting of the CIS Defence Ministers’ Council in Moscow, Russia.

The agenda will consist of 20 issues, including implementation of the 2020 CIS Military Cooperation Concept, participation of military teams of the CIS member states in the International Army Games 2016, as well as joint military activities in 2017.

Decisions taken at the meeting will contribute to establishing common approaches and mechanisms to develop the CIS military component.
