The Strongest Will Win

The second stage of the qualifying round of the Commonwealth Warrior 2015 military skills competition begins on 28 July at the 5th Special Purpose Brigade, Special Operations Forces. The event involves soldiers and sergeants serving under a contract in the Belarusian Armed Forces.

The competitions are held in order to create an attractive image of contract military service, foster traditions of armed defence of the Motherland and develop military cooperation between the armed forces of the CIS member states.

The aim of the event is to form and prepare a team of the Belarusian Armed Forces for participation in the finals of the international competition.

Forming a team consists of two stages. During the first stage the best service members were selected in Air Force and Air Defence, Special Operations Forces, and Operational Commands.

According to the results of the second stage, four candidates (including one female soldier) will be chosen to be included in the team of the Belarusian Armed Forces.

The finals of the Commonwealth Warrior 2015 will be held from 16 to 21 August at Otar military base in Kazakhstan.
