French Military Delegation Visits Belarus

From 11 to 13 November, a French military delegation led by Chief of the French Verification Centre Col. Gilles Perchet visited Minsk.

The representatives of Belarusian and French militaries discussed the conventional arms control in the OSCE region and considered proposals of the participating states to update the 2011 Vienna Document.

The parties summed up the results of bilateral cooperation activities in 2014 and discussed arms control cooperation in 2015.

At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a final document expressing mutual understanding of further arms control cooperation.
