Commanders of NBC Protection Troops to Hold Meeting

From 27 to 29 August, Bishkek is to host the meeting of CIS Commanders of NBC protection troops and training session with specialists of national systems for monitoring and evaluation of CBRN situation, included in the united system for monitoring and evaluation of CBRN situation in CIS countries.

The Belarusian Armed Forces will be represented by Chief of the NBC Protection Troops, Chief of the General Staff NBC Protection and Ecology Directorate Col. Vyacheslav Starkov.

The participants will adopt the joint action plan of the united system for monitoring and evaluation of CBRN situation in CIS countries for 2015 and approve the recommendations on the common evaluation procedure of CBRN situation in CIS countries, as well as adopt the schedule of training sessions on data acquisition and processing.

The participants will explore the experience of employing the forces and resources needed to identify and evaluate CBRN situation and train the specialists of the united system for monitoring and evaluation of CBRN situation in CIS countries.
