Andrei Burdyko was born on June 9, 1973 in Pleshchenitsy, Minsk Region.

In 1994, he graduated from the Volsk Higher Support School.

From 1994 to 2001, Burdyko occupied all positions from chief of food and stores service of logistics of an independent battalion to chief of the food service of logistics of a brigade.

In 2003, he graduated from the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport of the Russian Defence Ministry and was appointed chief of food service of the logistics directorate of the North-West Operational Command.

In 2007-2010, Andrei Burdyk was chief of staff – first deputy chief of the logistics directorate of the North-West Operational Command.

In 2012, he graduated from the Federal State Government Military Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and was appointed deputy combatant commander for logistics – chief of the logistics directorate of the North-West Operational Command.

From 2014 to 2017, Andrei Burdyko occupied the position of chief of main directorate for planning and coordination of logistics – first deputy chief of logistics of the Belarusian Armed Forces.

On May June 29, 2017, Andrei Burdyko was appointed Deputy Defence Minister for Logistics, Chief of Logistics of the Belarusian Armed Forces, following a relevant President’s decree.
